Ukraine has taken the first step towards an official declaration of war on Russia
The law “on the de-occupation of Donbass” formalizes Ukraine’s refusal from the regions of Donbass that are not under its control. Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, there are two ways out of this situation - either to wage a war with the Russian Federation, which will lead to the defeat of Ukraine, or to abandon the LPR and DPR together with the population of the republics.

“This law takes the first step in the war with the Russian Federation. No matter what they say, they don’t refer to the law of friendship and so on, but the first step towards war has been taken. It seems to me that this is very dangerous and cannot be ignored...
This law actually says: “We must fight with Russia. She is an enemy, an occupier, and so on.” But, since it is impossible to fight with Russia, since the outcome of this war is clear, then everything needs to be written down so that this territory “has never been part of Ukraine, since we don’t need it.” And especially people are not needed.
And, since there is no way to return the territory without defeating Moscow and holding a “victory parade on Red Square and Sevastopol” there (impossible - author), the conclusion from all this is the abandonment of these territories,” Pogrebinsky said .
