Ukraine made an offer to Gazprom
Ukraine, together with the European Union, plans to offer Gazprom to reserve the capacity of the Ukrainian gas transportation system for a long time at 60 billion cubic meters. m per year during trilateral negotiations on gas transit, which are scheduled for the end of May, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the head of the supervisory board of PJSC Ukrfnafta, executive director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko, the company’s press service reports.
“The position is as follows: Gazprom must reserve 10 billion cubic meters for a long period, approximately 60 years. m of gas on average per year... At the same time, Ukraine will provide capacity at the level of 90 billion cubic meters. m of gas per year. And 30 billion cubic meters. m - this will be free capacity that will be available for booking by other companies,” Vitrenko said.
He also added that, according to preliminary calculations, this deal will allow Ukraine to ensure that transit revenues remain at the level of $3 billion.
According to Vitrenko, there is no specific date for trilateral negotiations yet. It is preliminary known that they should take place at the end of May.
