Ukraine is the world leader in the number of political prisoners, they can be judged for “likes”
Moscow - Kyiv, October 23 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - “Today, according to our estimates, at least two thousand people have been arrested for dissent in Ukraine. Several thousand more simply went missing. That is, people were under secret surveillance, they went to another city, and their relatives can no longer contact them. The SBU today arrests literally for “liking” the page of militias on a social network or for finding the newspaper “Novorossiya” at home, reported WG co-chairman of the State Construction Committee of Novorossiya Vladimir Rogov.

The publication recalls the arrest in the capital of Ukraine of Sergei Rasstrigin, an activist of the public organization “Kievans for a Clean City,” which last winter organized actions against the “Euromaidan” that was destroying the historical center. Now he is charged with “organizing a protest movement against the actions of the Ukrainian government and mass unrest to destabilize the situation.” Rasstrigin, according to the SBU, “planned active subversive work among military personnel, campaigning events in labor collectives and trade union organizations.”
Four Odessa activists of the Kulikovo Pole movement, survivors of the May 2 tragedy, were recently arrested on similar charges. Needless to say, all those detained were identified by the head of the SBU, Valentin Nalyvaichenko, as dangerous FSB agents.
“Today, according to our estimates, at least two thousand people have been arrested for dissent in Ukraine. Several thousand more simply went missing. That is, people were under secret surveillance, they went to another city, and their relatives can no longer contact them. The SBU today arrests literally for “liking” a militia’s page on a social network or for finding the newspaper “Novorossiya” at home - this is already enough. Ukraine today is without a doubt the world leader in the number of political prisoners, and in general a country where everything is turned upside down: a person who criticizes the government is a terrorist, and an armed robber and murderer is an activist and a hero,” commented for “RG ” words Nalivaychenko co-chairman of the State Construction Committee of Novorossiya Vladimir Rogov.
The similarity of today's Ukraine with Nazi Germany, and the SBU with the Reich secret police is perfectly illustrated by the following news: the Dergachevsky district court of the Kharkov region sentenced a local pensioner to five years of suspended imprisonment with a three-year reprieve only for a leaflet of the “Russian East” movement found in his possession in the spring (!) . Neighbors reported on the old man via the SBU hotline. In principle, denunciation is encouraged by the Ukrainian state, which even produces visual aids on the topic “how to find a separatist.”
Let us note that Vladimir Rogov’s words that you can get into a SBU cell just for one activity on the Internet are not an exaggeration. Nalyvaichenko, in the same interview, complained that the security service was unable to disable the Russian social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki in Ukraine, the main carriers of “separatism.” But administrators of foreign resources, according to him, are willing to cooperate with the Ukrainian intelligence service.
