The publication recalls the arrest in the capital of Ukraine of Sergei Rasstrigin, an activist of the public organization “Kievans for a Clean City,” which last winter organized actions against the “Euromaidan” that was destroying the historical center. Now he is charged with “organizing a protest movement against the actions of the Ukrainian government and mass unrest to destabilize the situation.” Rasstrigin, according to the SBU, “planned active subversive work among military personnel, campaigning events in labor collectives and trade union organizations.”

Four Odessa activists of the Kulikovo Pole movement, survivors of the May 2 tragedy, were recently arrested on similar charges. Needless to say, all those detained were identified by the head of the SBU, Valentin Nalyvaichenko, as dangerous FSB agents.

Let us note that Vladimir Rogov’s words that you can get into a SBU cell just for one activity on the Internet are not an exaggeration. Nalyvaichenko, in the same interview, complained that the security service was unable to disable the Russian social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki in Ukraine, the main carriers of “separatism.” But administrators of foreign resources, according to him, are willing to cooperate with the Ukrainian intelligence service.
