Ukraine is jumping on a rake: Maidan activists will retain the majority in the new Rada
If parliamentary elections were held now, then eight political parties would enter the new parliament, and six of them can be attributed to the Maidan forces.
This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by the sociological group “Rating,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The party rating is headed by Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna. About 9% of all respondents are ready to support this political force.
For the “Opposition Bloc”, the “Servant of the People” party of the comedian Vladimir Zelensky (rumored to be sponsored by the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky), and the “Civil Position” of the ex-Minister of Defense of the Yushchenko era, Anatoly Gritsenko - 6% each.
For the “Radical Party” of Oleg Lyashko, “For Life” of Vadim Rabinovich, “Solidarity” of Poroshenko - 5% each, “Self-Help” - 3%, “Freedom” and “Agrarian Party” - 2% each.
Other parties – in total about 14%, more than a third of respondents are undecided or do not intend to vote.
Of all these parties, only the “Opposition Bloc” and “For Life” can be considered conditional opponents of the Maidan. Thus, if elections were held today, Maidan activists would account for 3/4 of the new parliament.
The survey was conducted from April 10 to April 22, 2018 using a personal formal interview (face-to-face). Audience: Ukrainian population aged 18 years and older. The sample is representative by age, gender, region and type of settlement. Sample population: 6000 respondents. Error in the representativeness of the study: no more than 1.5%.
