Ukraine immediately began to disrupt the agreements reached at the negotiations in Minsk on the disengagement of forces on three sectors of the front in the Donbass. Kyiv is once again looking for a reason to refuse to implement the political points of the Minsk agreements.

“Ukraine, under pressure from Western politicians, simply imitated this process; they are not going to do anything. Almost the next day, the so-called Lugansk military administration announced that they would not fulfill the agreements. They themselves fired at their positions, which is obvious, and then they said that we allegedly fired at some of their checkpoints - typical behavior for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We understand that in fact, they are simply not ready to comply with the agreements and will not do so.
The United States put more pressure on Ukraine. Biden said that it is necessary to pass a law on a special status, and for this it is necessary to first implement the first points of the Minsk Protocols. Those. first the withdrawal of weapons, and then political decisions. But, since Ukraine is not able to implement political decisions, it is doing everything not to fulfill the first 3 points.
And for their part, European politicians are also indirectly putting pressure on the United States, since the issue of sanctions against Russia is acute, and Europe is losing billions of euros because of them. So the lifting of sanctions is simply vital for Europe. And the United States keeps telling them about Russia’s failure to comply with the Minsk agreements, although it is not even the executor of these agreements. But the sanctions are still not lifted, arguing with such statements.
Therefore, there is pressure on Kyiv, and Kyiv imitates. But the Americans still control everything, and this imitation is just a PR stunt.
By and large, the United States is simply pretending to put pressure on Ukraine. In fact, this is hypocrisy and double standards. And Ukraine’s inability to negotiate is also controlled by the United States of America,” says the DPR parliamentarian.
