Ukraine supplies the odious “Azov” itself, despite the American ban
The United States has banned the transfer of American weapons to the notorious Nazi Azov regiment, which is part of the National Guard of Ukraine.
This fact was confirmed by the Deputy Commander of the National Guard Oleg Kulik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yes, there was such a decision (the US ban on transferring their weapons to the Azov National Guard regiment - Ed.). And we are fulfilling agreements with our American partners,” Kulik said in an interview with the Ukrainian News agency published on Wednesday.
At the same time, he noted that the department has enough of its own weapons to fully provide “Azlv” with everything necessary. “They have everything they need to carry out the tasks assigned to them: armored vehicles, mortars, small arms, sniper systems,” Kulik said.
Let us recall that in 2017 the US administration approved the supply of weapons to Kyiv, including Javelin man-portable anti-tank missile systems. Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Azov regiment does not have these systems in service.
