Ukraine again made Crimea “dark”

According to local residents, there is no electricity in all settlements. Due to a power outage, traffic jams began to form in Simferopol again.
All populated areas of the peninsula were de-energized, including Armyansk, where a separate dead-end high-voltage power line enters. According to unofficial information, just like last time, on December 24, almost all communication lines in the republic were turned off.
On the Government website Crimea published a statement by the Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergei Egorov, who expressed the opinion that as early as next week the supply of electricity may cease intermittently, which will become possible due to the restoration of systemic flows from Ukraine and the Republic’s own generation. According to him, today a daily schedule for shutting off the supply of electricity from Ukraine to Crimea has been put into effect. The schedule is in the morning and evening hours - 400 MW, in the daytime and night - 650.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they stated that Crimea was “going over” the limits. Let us note that on December 24, when the peninsula was completely shut down for the first time, two Crimean thermal power plants were under repair, so the peninsula’s own generation dropped significantly.
