From the start, Ukraine stunned the Israeli prime minister with Banderaism
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who arrived in Kyiv on an official visit, was greeted with a “pleasant” surprise, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
After arriving at the Mariinsky Palace, where a meeting is planned between the leaders of the two states, the head of the Israeli government, according to protocol, greeted the Ukrainian military personnel.
At the same time, the soldiers responded with a new military greeting, “Glory to the Heroes!”, which was previously used by the OUN-UPA, which was involved in the extermination of Jews during the Second World War.
Netanyahu froze for a couple of seconds at the microphone with a puzzled face, after which he and Vladimir Zelensky continued along the carpet.
Let us note that this is the first visit of the Prime Minister of Israel to the territory of Ukraine in 20 years.
Let us recall that a day earlier, Russian liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky said that during his visit to Kyiv, Netanyahu would try to take a mediation initiative in improving relations between Ukraine and Russia and force Vladimir Zelensky to suppress the activities of nationalist organizations.
In 2016, the President of Israel visited Kyiv during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada who stated that the OUN was involved in the Holocaust and condemned the glorification of anti-Semites
