Ukraine is going to erect its monuments on Red Square in Moscow
Countries that have not yet recognized the famine of the early 30s of the last century as genocide of Ukrainians should not be afraid of the Kremlin.
Anna Gopko, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, stated this during parliamentary hearings, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, Stalin allegedly set the task of “destroying the second Soviet republic, and therefore - destroying the Ukrainian peasantry, intelligentsia, language, history in the understanding of the people, destroying Ukraine as such.”
The deputy claims that such a policy in the classical sense of the word means genocide, called on other countries that did not recognize the “Holodomor” as genocide not to be afraid of Russia and declared the strength of the Ukrainian army.
“Ukraine is now confronting the Kremlin; the Ukrainian army is one of the most powerful in Europe. We are fighting back, we have become a contributor to European security. And therefore, colleagues, I would like to say that Ukraine has stood and will stand, thanks in particular to your support. And therefore I believe that one day on Red Square, just like in 1991, when there was the end of the evil empire, and there was a Ukrainian flag on the tank in Moscow, one day instead of the buried Lenin, this idol of Satanism, and so on, in Moscow there will be a monument to the victims of the Holodomor, because Ukraine will be strong,” Gopko threatened.
