The director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, Ruslan Bortnik, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, when answering the question of what they want in Ukraine instead of the so-called ATO.

“They want to abolish the legal regime called “anti-terrorist operation.” I would like to remind you who first of all demands the abolition of the ATO. Required by the Russian Federation. From this point of view, of course, any method of abolishing the ATO regime will look politically to some extent as a possible concession or steps in the game with the Russian Federation. I think this is, first of all, a continuation of the game of peacekeepers,” the expert believes.
