Ukraine disrupted the liquidation of an environmental accident in Donbass
Kyiv is making every attempt to organize an environmental disaster in the Donbass. To date, due to the fault of the Ukrainian military, repair work to restore the dam of the phenol plant in the territory controlled by Ukraine has been disrupted. A liquid spill from the dam threatens an environmental disaster not only for Donbass, but also for the whole of Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the DPR Ministry of Defense with reference to Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, November 15, during repair and restoration work at the phenol production sludge storage facility, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the area of the settlement of Novgorodskoye, opening fire on the positions of the DPR Armed Forces.
At 12:30 the enemy used BMP-1 weapons, and at 14:30 opened mortar fire, firing 4 mines of 82 caliber and 13 mines of 120 mm caliber.
This fact was recorded by representatives of the Russian Federation and the DPR in the observation group of the JCCC “Gorlovka”, as well as the “mirror” patrol of the OSCE SMM, which worked on the southern outskirts of the village of Leninskoye.
Please note that in the indicated area, repair and restoration work is underway at the phenol production sludge storage facility for the second week, for which both parties have given additional guarantees of compliance with the silence regime.
We hope that representatives of the OSCE SMM will reflect the violation of the ceasefire in their daily report, and the Ukrainian side in the JCCC will return to strict compliance with the security guarantees it has given,” the DPR JCCC representative said.
