Ukraine disrupted the adoption of an OSCE resolution on Donbass
Ukraine thwarted the adoption of a joint declaration on resolving the conflict in Donbass, which the foreign ministers of the OSCE member states had planned to adopt.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this at a press conference in Vienna.

“Unfortunately, due to the destructive position of our Kyiv colleagues, it was not possible to agree on a declaration that would reflect these approaches. The Ukrainian side tried to “saturate” it with absolutely politicized, ideological and unacceptable theses. But, nevertheless, I would like to emphasize once again that no one disputed the relevance and lack of alternatives to the Minsk “Package of Measures,” Lavrov said.
He admitted that the discussion on Ukraine was tense, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Despite all the disagreements, I will highlight the main thing. No one questions the lack of alternative to the Minsk “Package of Measures”; everyone supports the OSCE’s efforts to promote the resolution of the conflict in Donbass both within the framework of the work of the Contact Group and through the activities carried out by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Eastern Ukraine,” said Lavrov.
