Ukraine will create a Ministry of Propaganda: It will flood Moscow, Crimea and Donbass with spam
Kyiv, November 30 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The new government of Ukraine should include the Ministry of Propaganda, the head of which is proposed to appoint Channel 5 producer Yuriy Stets.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

“There is an idea to create a Ministry for Information Policy Affairs within the Cabinet of Ministers, the main task of which will be to protect the information space of Ukraine from Russian propaganda and counter-propaganda in Russia, in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass.
This issue is long overdue and, I would even say, overdue.
I am confident that such an initiative, if agreed upon by all five factions of the coalition, will be unanimously supported by the parliamentary majority.
For the post of Minister of Information Policy, the candidacy of my comrade Yuri Stets, the man and citizen who created Channel 5, was discussed, without whose active role both the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity might not have happened in the form in which they will forever remain in history,” wrote Gerashchenko on Facebook.
As a first move in the information war, Gerashchenko proposes organizing spam mailings.
“Why don’t our Ukrainian patriots, who are professionally engaged in sending out advertisements and the like, send out offers to read Ukrainian sites that convey the truth about the events in Ukraine. For example, Censor.Net, UkrPravda and so on. And links to TV channels 1+1, Channel 5, Channel 24 with an appeal to Russians:..
I know that there are databases on sale with millions of emails from Russians - let them receive a similar spam message from us. It’s practically free, but it can influence more Russians to see an alternative point of view,” says the Ukrainian deputy.
