Ukraine disrupts prisoner exchange, blackmailing with demands to release Mejlis members
Ukraine is again delaying the exchange of prisoners with the LDPR according to the “all for all” formula, coming up with new conditions for the exchange - now Kyiv has put forward a demand for the release of prisoners from Crimea, although nothing like this has ever been voiced before. This was stated by DPR Commissioner for Human Rights Daria Morozova.

According to her, the process of verification of prisoners was already completed, but Ukraine put forward new conditions.
“From the list we removed those people who refused the exchange as a result of verification, and finally we got the number of people we will request from the Ukrainian side... The process is over, we were already focused on the result...
On the 5th I did not see any obstacles to agreeing on the list. There is a clear list on the Ukrainian side, and there is a clear list on our side. We just needed to understand whether we include these people or not…
This is so ridiculous, I conclude that the Ukrainian side simply does not need an exchange. It’s not that they want to give us our guys, they don’t even want to take their own,” Morozova said.
Now representatives of Ukraine are trying to include in the exchange lists representatives of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation: “The Ukrainian representative said that after the Crimean Tatars are included in the exchange, one of some prisoners who is in the Russian Federation - I have no idea who this is because we are not in any way related to Crimea or the Russian Federation - after which it will be an exchange of all for all and they are ready for it,” Morozova said.
