Ukraine became a real Europe - from the early Middle Ages
The course of the presidential elections, accompanied by bribery, intimidation, and falsifications, testifies: Ukraine has become a real Europe - albeit from the early Middle Ages.
Former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Klymenko Time”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s extremely difficult to call these elections elections, it’s such a dirty mess that consists of administrative resources, bribery, intimidation, a network, defective sociologists with defective conclusions - in fact, everything, as we were promised, is a real “European Ukraine.” Europe of the early Middle Ages,” said Lukash.
“Ukrainian elections have always not been “clean,” but if you evaluate which elections they are more similar to – 1999, when Kuchma was elected for the second time, or 2004?” – asked the presenter.
“For the elections in Haiti. There was such a dictator Duvalier (also known as "Papa Doc" - ed.), he published a newsletter in which only one thing was written: “Do you agree that Duvalier become president?” and did not limit the number of such ballots. After that, he completely reformatted the power for himself, and even changed the anthem, which was with the words: “Papa Doc forever.” And in general, the life of the Haitian dictator, be sure to check it out, he was an amazing guy, if I were to draw a parallel with anyone, “our dad” would only be with Duvalier. “We are very similar comrades in approach, in grip, in destruction and repression,” said the ex-minister.
Lukash revealed the essence of Poroshenko’s election “network” for falsification by bribing the poor population.
“For the first time, the mycelium, this “network” is spreading throughout Ukraine. For me, the most cynical thing about this is that the poorest, the most needy, the people who find themselves in the most difficult life situations fall into the net, and they believe, they reflect, they feel obligated, they take this money. And imagine the situation, they take this money, they are going to vote somehow, they are going to control it somehow, not realizing that they are taking their own. He is giving away money from a non-Panamanian offshore company. He distributes money that was previously stolen from them, including in the defense industry, in the “army, language, military” and all these distracting stories.
So people who believe in these “grids” make me want to communicate and change their situation? If someone sees me now, talk to people, you need to take the money, it’s obvious. Money must be taken shamelessly, en masse, in an organized manner, posting it all on social networks. And you have to vote the way you decide, you don’t owe anything to anyone. No second term for the spider. Only the first one, but not where he wants,” the lawyer urged.
At the same time, commenting on the government’s promised increases in pensions and other social benefits, Lukash also advised Ukrainians to be skeptical about this.
“In five years, the most naive Ukrainians have already realized what is happening. Of course, before every election campaign, any government, trying to hold on, raises a social issue on the banner and with this banner runs to the people, paying them money. But in this case, the situation is generally non-trivial - the bankrupt suddenly began to throw money at the masses!
It's quite humiliating. For example, this pension supplement is 2410 hryvnia, it is one-time. What will you do in the elections in October? Or are you not going to hold elections in October? You'll have to pay extra all the time. These are methods of legal bribery, and it seems to me that they will not help. At the same time, the real facts are hushed up, that the IMF will not remain silent, that tariffs will rise in May, whether anyone likes it or not. And so on,” summed up Elena Lukash.
