“Ukraine will become a desert” – the land market will leave up to 8 million citizens without work and money
Currently, Ukrainian agriculture provides employment to millions of people, and they will lose it after the opening of the land market.
Andrey Mishchenko, people's deputy of the 7th convocation from the VO "Svoboda", said this on the air of the TV channel "FIRST ZAKHIDNIY", the correspondent of "PolitNavigator" reports.
“On average, a farm accounts for 8 hectares of land, people are employed.
Now several dozen landowners will become owners of Ukrainian land.
Ukrainian land is 38 million hectares, it can provide work for at least 7-8 million Ukrainians.
So, they all have only one prospect - to leave this state if they do not want to die of hunger.
Because the owner will sit somewhere in the Caribbean and watch via satellite how the combine will scream (plow).
This is if he wants to cultivate the land, but he can simply reserve it and not cultivate it. And as a result, Ukraine will become a desert,” the deputy concluded.
