Ukraine is rapidly sinking to the bottom of democracy
The current actions of the ruling regime in Ukraine have nothing to do with freedom of speech or human rights.
This is evidenced by the sanctions introduced recently by a decision of the Security Council of Ukraine, which prohibit the work of a number of media outlets in the country.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The desire for democracy in Ukraine has a clear downward trend. This is a downward trend, an accelerating decline that has nothing to do with freedom of speech or anything like that. We regard such steps as contrary to the fundamental principles of freedom of speech and pluralism of opinion, and also not in accordance with the spirit of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms,” Zakharova said.
