Ukraine is rapidly losing its main export market - the CIS countries, and soon exports to these countries may fall to zero. Economic expert Andrey Blinov stated this on Hromadske TV.

According to him, export volumes will return to their previous pre-Maidan level in at least ten years.

“In Russia and the CIS, we must understand that the main point is geopolitical. Unfortunately, there are prospects for exports to almost zero. We have already lost two thirds and there is a downward trend. Someday, in the future, maybe in two years, perhaps in ten, most likely in ten, and perhaps in twenty-five, we will have a certain surge and return to the volume of mutual trade not only with Russia, but also with Belarus, Kazakhstan. We will reach the point that Russia will occupy at least a fifth of Ukraine’s foreign trade,” Blinov said.
