“We have greatly weakened our position in negotiations with the EU countries and the USA. How can we demand to increase sanctions pressure on Russia if we ourselves open the gates to Russian business? We have significantly strengthened the position of pro-Russian lobbying forces within the EU.

Now people and entire countries that are lobbying for the lifting of sanctions against Russia are sure to use such actions of the Ukrainian authorities to strengthen the confrontation within the EU about the inappropriateness of further use of sanctions.
