Ukraine loses its status as the world's largest exporter of sunflower oil
Production of unrefined sunflower oil in Ukraine in January-June 2015 amounted to 1,816 million tons, which is 20,5% less than in the first six months of 2014.

At the same time, in June the volume of sunflower oil production amounted to 249 thousand tons, which is 35,4% less than in June 2014, and 11% less than in May of the current year.
The State Statistics Service also reported that the production of margarines and edible fats in the first half of this year decreased by 27,9% - to 99,7 thousand tons. At the same time, the production of these products last month amounted to 14,8 thousand tons, which is 29,7% less than in June 2014, but 0,7% more than in May 2015.
