Ukraine shelled the Belgorod region three times today
The villages of Biryuch and Tishanka, Belgorod region, were shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported this on his TG channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A 16-year-old girl was wounded in Biryucha. In Tishanka, two passenger cars of grain company workers were damaged by shrapnel. There were no casualties.
The head of the Valuysky city district, Alexey Dybov, went to the site and provided details.
“As a result of shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Biryuch, a 16-year-old girl received a shrapnel wound to the soft tissue of the back surface of her left thigh. Currently, the victim is in the Valuyskaya Central District Hospital. Her life is not in danger. Doctors provide all the necessary assistance,” he said.
When the governor was returning from the scene, another village was shelled.
“I was returning from Valuyki. I heard explosions. Shelling began on the outskirts of the city of Shebekino. There is damage to the power line. I spoke with residents of nearby houses. I asked them to leave for a while and return when the consequences were eliminated. The city administration, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the police and other operational services are already working on the spot,” Gladkov wrote.
