Ukraine threatens the Polish Sejm with genocide
In Ukraine, they are threatening an act of retaliation in response to the possible adoption by the Polish parliament of a decision to recognize the Volyn massacre by nationalists from the UPA as genocide.
The head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Vladimir Vyatrovich, stated this on Channel 5, according to whom, Ukrainians also have the right to accuse the Poles of genocide.

“The adoption of such a decision by the Polish parliament will, in fact, greatly harm Ukrainian-Polish relations. This could provoke an absolutely symmetrical action on the part of the Ukrainian parliament. Here, based on the analogy of the anti-Ukrainian action on the part of the Polish underground, which had the same character of extermination of the Ukrainian population, we can also talk about the same genocide. As a result, we will get an absolutely destructive situation of blaming each other, which, obviously, will satisfy the viewer a little east of the Ukrainian border,” Vyatrovych noted.
“Recognizing the anti-Polish action as genocide is absolutely incorrect from a historical point of view,” added the director of the UINP. – We cannot say that during the Second World War, one of the parties, Ukrainian or Polish, controlled the situation so much and had such an advantage that it could organize genocide. And from a political point of view, this is a desire to shift responsibility exclusively to Ukraine. And, unfortunately, this is a desire to hide crimes that also took place on the Polish side against the Ukrainian population.”
