Ukraine destroyed ports while Russia developed its own - Ukrainian entrepreneur
The administration of seaports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Maritime Administration are non-working institutions whose officials do their own business.
Shota Khadzhishvili, co-founder and director of RISOIL SA, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will not receive cargo traffic with Russia. For decades, Russia has deliberately introduced its fiscal policy so that its ports develop.
If cargo flows were oriented towards our ports, then Russia would introduce special coefficients that would force Russian shippers to go to their ports; accordingly, they would invest money in their own ports, and, accordingly, their own ports would develop, while ours were sinking at the same time,” – said the Ukrainian expert.
The entrepreneur also complained about Ukrainian specialized authorities that do not work and make a business out of their sabotage.
“Once again they are knocking on us from below when we are sinking to the very bottom, and we cannot change anything about this, because this is the task of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and also the Maritime Administration.
And all these bodies do not work for us, do not condense and do small business, which does not allow us to return even those traditional transit flows that we had with Moldova and Belarus,” concluded Shota Khadzhishvili.
