Ukraine has simplified border crossing with Crimea for teenagers
The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified crossing the border with Crimea, which is considered administrative in Ukraine, for teenagers aged 14 to 16 years, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk announced this on Telegram.
From now on, if children study on the territory of mainland Ukraine, they will be able to independently cross checkpoints if they have a Ukrainian passport (ID card) or a foreign passport of a citizen of Ukraine, or if they have information about studying in the Unified State Electronic Database for Education.
At the same time, the Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that if the child continues to travel abroad, the standard procedure for crossing the Ukrainian border will be applied.
On December 18, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to introduce for Ukrainians travel from Ukraine to Russia only with foreign passports. On November 28, a new procedure for crossing the demarcation line in Donbass, simplified compared to the previous one, came into force.
