Ukraine missed its chance to get a visa-free regime with the EU
Ukrainians continue to be deceived and pass off as victories the next milestones allegedly achieved on the way to a visa-free regime with the EU.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“It seems to me that to some extent we have missed the most opportune moment to obtain a visa-free regime,” the expert believes. – And the further it goes, the more difficult it will be. You shouldn’t allow yourself to be fooled by successive stages and agreements, which at the expert level are constantly presented as a victory. Moreover, we need to correctly call our visa-free regime – this is the liberalization of the visa regime. Unlike other visa-free regimes that the EU has with other countries, this one does not give Ukrainians the right to socialization, work, study and everything else.”
Let us recall that Ukraine, during Yushchenko’s presidency, abolished the visa regime for EU citizens, but is still awaiting a reciprocal step to abolish visas from Brussels.
