“The Security Service of Ukraine is promptly monitoring the internal political situation in the Republic of Moldova,” the security service said in a statement.
As part of the partnership, as noted, the SBU constantly exchanges information with Moldovan colleagues to maintain calm and stability in the region.
“In order to prevent the aggravation of the situation in Chisinau associated with foreign interference in internal processes, the counterintelligence regime at the entrance to Moldova through the territory of Ukraine in relation to radical citizens of the Russian Federation has been strengthened,” the Security Service added.
Let us remind you that Moldova is now in the midst of a political crisis and instability associated with the confrontation between the Democratic Party of Vlad Plahotniuc and the Union of Socialists of Igor Dodon and the pro-Russian bloc of Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase.
