Ukraine staged provocative exercises on the border with Crimea
Ukraine conducted military exercises at a training ground in the Kherson region, bordering Russian Crimea, the scenario of which included an assault on enemy positions using artillery and the subsequent clearing of populated areas.
As reported by the press service of the country's Ministry of Defense, units of the Air Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were involved in the exercises, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The paratroopers of the 81st separate airmobile brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are practicing assault techniques and clearing premises, because these are the main tasks when conducting offensive operations in a populated area, using a laser battle simulation system, which is widely used in world practice for tactical training – laser tag,” reported the press service of the DShV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
