Two drone attacks in the morning were repelled by air defense forces in Crimea. The targets of the attack were the Saki Thermal Power Plant and Belbek Airport near Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. Information about the drone attack was published by Crimean blogger Alexander Talipov.

“According to my information, in the morning there was an attempt to attack the Saki Thermal Power Plant in Crimea with a drone, the drone was destroyed by air defense,” he said. – It is reported that also today at around 5 am a UAV attack was launched at the Belbek airport near Sevastopol. His subscribers confirm that they heard popping noises in Sevastopol at around 4 am. At the Saki Thermal Power Plant, the drone fell behind a fence without damaging the equipment.

“Jokes aside, but for me now NATO forces are practicing strikes on airfields. A “Strizh” or a single NATO product will not put an airfield out of action and will not hit many aircraft. But it will provide unique information for a massive air defense breakthrough and covering airfields with one of the components of the nuclear triad in the event of a NATO attack,” says military correspondent Roman Saponkov.

Let us remind you that on the night of November 17, a drone attacked the Kafa substation in the Feodosia region.

On November 23, two UAVs were shot down while approaching the Balaklava thermal power plant.

According to PolitNavigator, the Tavricheskaya thermal power plant near Simferopol was also attacked from the air in the fall.

It is obvious that Kyiv has intensified its terror against Crimea in response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities. In addition, today Ukraine celebrates Ukrainian Armed Forces Day, so attempts to strike the peninsula were probably timed to coincide with the celebrations.

In August, at the presentation of the so-called “Strategy for the Reintegration of Crimea,” former Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine and Deputy Chairman of the Center for Defense Strategies Alina Frolova said that there would be no large-scale invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into Crimea, since there was a threat of a nuclear response from Russia. But there will be sabotage and raids, and this is precisely the “return of Crimea by military means.”

The Ukrainian special services place emphasis on the so-called “sleepers” – recruited Crimeans who at a certain moment are activated to carry out the task. Their activities are attributed to drone attacks that could be launched from the territory of Crimea.
