Economic expert Viktor Skarshevsky stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine on its own, both with external loans and taking into account gold and foreign exchange reserves, will not be able to pay off all its accumulated debts. Either restructuring or default will occur. In any case, the result will be a higher devaluation. Plus, this will interfere with political turbulence. Plus, the foreign economic situation may worsen and foreign currency receipts to Ukraine will be even less. Then the devaluation may repeat as in 2014-2015. In short, Ukraine has problems, and the government that will replace the current one in 2019 will have even more problems,” he said.
