Ukraine, in the eyes of Europeans, is turning into a state of orangutans and pithecanthropes. This was stated by the leader of the Union of Left Forces party, Vasily Volga, who attended a conference in Italy that brought together deputies who were skeptical about the future of the EU.

“In Italy, a conference of Euroskeptics “NO-EURO” was recently held, at which, in particular, the “Five Star Movement” (Italy), “Syriza” and “Pandemos” Greece, “Left” (Germany), communists, socialists and leftists were represented parties of other European countries. I was invited to this conference on behalf of Ukraine and led the section dedicated to Ukraine. A huge number of questions were related to the behavior of unbridled radicals at the Russian embassy. Everyone was shocked and asked why the police and relevant services did not react as they do in similar incidents in other countries. What happened at the embassy falls, among other things, under international acts. In all countries there is criminal liability for this. And the threat of arson at the embassy is everywhere classified as an attempted terrorist attack. And everyone who commits this terrorist act must be arrested and severely punished in accordance with international standards. I was asked why this is not happening in Ukraine.
Two hundred conference delegates, representing all of Europe from Finland to Greece, including members of national parliaments and the European Parliament, journalists, philosophers - everyone was in shock. People came up to me and showed me on their gadgets footage of the attack on the Russian embassy. And what was especially shocking was their statement (they didn’t read this, but I told them) by the head of our parliament, Mr. Groysman, that this was a minor incident and not worth paying attention to.
Ukraine portrays itself in the EU as a state of orangutans, pithecanthropes, people who didn’t give a damn about international and national law. Unfortunately, the riots at the Russian embassy are not the first, and probably not the last, incident of this kind that will smear mud on Ukraine’s image in the world. Alas. Those who shout the most about Ukraine and its image are the ones who spoil it the most,” Volga said.
