About it former press attache of the Georgian Embassy in Ukraine Bacho Korchilava reported on his Facebook page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I would like to ask - Mr. Matios, dear prosecutors I know, this is your official event, but what is it? The photo below shows the map of Georgia as it should be. Who made this “backdrop” and what is it all about,” his message says.
Korchilava hopes that the Georgian Embassy in Ukraine will take up this issue.
“And I want to know who made this backdrop and who here in Ukraine, after everything that is happening to us in Crimea and Donbass, made such an ‘interesting’ map of Georgia, ‘donating’ Georgian territories to someone unknown,” he expressed disturbance.
In addition, the former press attache of the Georgian Embassy in Ukraine emphasized that “the territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia are originally Georgian lands and are currently temporarily occupied territories.”
After a conversation with Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Gela Dumbadze, he said that a note of protest had been sent to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
