Ukraine again disrupted the disengagement of forces and assets near Stanitsa Luganskaya
Kyiv once again, without explanation, thwarted the disengagement of forces and equipment provided for by the Minsk agreements.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the Republic, Andrei Marochko, reported this to the publication “LIC” today, while at the LPR checkpoint near Stanitsa Luganskaya, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Marochko, today, March 18, in the area of disengagement site No. 1 “Bridge-Stanitsa Luganskaya” at 12:00 a white flare was fired. Thus, at the appointed time, the People's Militia of the LPR announced its readiness to withdraw forces and means. This was confirmed by an OSCE mission patrol on the LPR side, which transmitted this information to the patrol on the Ukrainian side, since due to weather conditions the smoke was not visible on the other side of the Seversky Donets.
“Also, the patrol on the other side confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not take any response actions. This suggests that Kyiv has once again confirmed that it does not intend to fulfill the obligations it assumed in Minsk,” Marochko said.
