Ukraine has entered the stability of poverty
Vladimir Groysman and his government seem successful only against the background of the even more incompetent head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Political scientist Kirill Molchanov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yes, probably, against the backdrop of the Yatsenyuk government, Groysman somehow stabilized the economy, and there is even some slight growth. But, in fact, this looks like stability of poverty.
We have been observing this stability of poverty for two years now. All minimal increases were “eaten up” by inflation. The government abolished state regulation of prices for socially significant groups of goods. There is a colossal rise in food prices. There is growth in well-being only in nominal terms, but not in real ones.
If we take his “trick” with roads, then after the winter a lot of what was being repaired disappeared with the snow.
The government is a set of political figures who are engaged in political self-PR, and clumsy ones at that. For example, they go to meet a barge with watermelons.
I can’t imagine the President of the United States or the Chancellor of Germany going to open any kindergartens or schools,” the expert said.
