According to The Economist specialists, in the current month alone, Ukraine’s real GDP will show a decline of 6,3%. Ukraine is followed by Libya (GDP drop - 6,2%), Macau (6%), Equatorial Guinea (5,6%). Russia is also included in the TOP-15, partly because the Ukrainian government, despite the catastrophic damage to its own economy, decided to break traditional industrial ties with this state. The TOP 15 is closed by Greece, whose economy, according to the publication’s analysts, will not undergo significant negative changes in April.
In turn, Papua New Guinea became the leader of the TOP-15 fast-growing economies in the world (forecast for real GDP growth in April - 12%). Second place was taken by the Democratic Republic of the Congo (8%), and bronze went to Sri Lanka (7,9%).
Let us recall that according to the forecast of the World bank Ukraine's real gross domestic product will decline by 2015% in 7,5, compared with a 6,8% decline in 2014. At the same time, the NBU appreciated GDP decline in the first quarter of 2015 was 15%.
