Ukraine wanted to dictate its terms to the EurAsEC through Belarus
Ukraine has many questions for Belarus, which only in words behaves like a partner, but acts differently. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Elena Zerkal stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to her, therefore, when considering Belarus’ application for membership in the World Trade Organization, Ukraine will take into account its interests and, through Belarus, put pressure on the Eurasian Economic Union, of which it is a member.
“In fact, it seems to me that there are many more questions about Belarus than there are answers right now. In particular, for example, the same entry of Belarus into the World Trade Organization. Will we support Belarus in this accession in view, for example, of the fact that Belarus is the last country of the Eurasian Economic Union to join the WTO. And what will happen, what will be the consequences of this entry? Or will we still look at our interests and impose our interests on Belarus, through Belarus, the EAEU, including transit, including all prohibitions, including all licenses and all other issues, and also, of course, resolving issues of both the entry of Ukrainian citizens and the safety of citizens Ukraine in Belarus.
And we will solve everything comprehensively. In my opinion, this is a complex issue, and we must approach this comprehensively, because Belarus in words behaves like a partner, but in reality they behave completely differently,” Zerkal said
