Ukraine has been carrying out military aggression against Belarus since at least 2020. That's right, no more, no less. This fact, in fact, was announced on December 6 on the air of the “This is Another” program on Belarusian television.

The presenter of the program, Ksenia Lebedeva, invited a representative of the Beregini hacker group on air. This group, consisting of women of Ukrainian origin, has existed since 2017 and is engaged in countering Ukrainian neo-Nazism and militarism. The main area of activity is de-anonymization and making public the secrets of Ukrainian special operations forces, primarily the notorious TsIPsO. The girl in a black hood and with a changed voice was on air for less than a minute, but during that time she said very important things.

According to her, at the beginning of this year, Beregini hacked the information network of the 72nd TsIPSO and established that it was this structure that was engaged in information support of the Belarusian protests. Its employees sat and disseminated information throughout all Belarusian opposition chats down to the level of urban areas.

The cypsos also worked closely with the “CyberPartisans”, leaking to them all available information on the Belarusian security forces and Lukashenko’s supporters. She also confirmed information about connections between TsIPsO and the Informnapalm website, the editor of the Belarusian section of which was Denis Ivashin.

As for Informnapalm, this is far from news, and Ivashin himself has been serving time for high treason for a long time. But so far no one has spoken directly on the air of the main state TV channel in Belarus about the connections with TsIPsO protest chats and “CyberPartisans” as an established fact, although such thoughts suggested themselves.

A short speech by an anonymous hacker dotted many i’s in the history of Belarusian protests. We all remember the numerous city chats that arose in huge numbers and penetrated down to the level of individual neighborhoods and residential complexes.

I agree, the politicization of Belarusian society at that moment was very high, and so was the interest in such chats. However, the situation with these chats could not be explained by the political activity of the “lower classes” alone. They arose almost instantly, were well coordinated and administered. It was simply impossible for such numbers of trained information front fighters to appear in Belarus overnight.

Tikhanovsky, Statkevich and the entire Belarusian opposition taken together had no trace of such a personnel reserve. And even Nexta and its Polish curators could not help. Only Ukraine could provide so many well-coordinated and experienced information provocateurs with knowledge of the language.

“Cyber partisans” are a no less suspicious structure. They came out of nowhere, they had never done hacking before, several people were directly involved in hacking. This is how they talk about themselves. Can you seriously believe that in 2021, this kind of amateur activity could, several times a week, hack into the most secure government databases and networks of law enforcement agencies, launch cyber attacks on the networks of industrial giants, including physical penetration of sensitive facilities? It is clear that this is just a legend and its creators did not particularly bother with its verisimilitude.

By the way, even some of the Belarusian oppositionists do not believe in this legend, but they suspect that the Belarusian KGB is hiding under the guise of “CyberPartisan”. Of course, I understand that the KGB can play its own games and create various fake structures. But the Belarusian special services certainly could not carry out cyber sabotage and disrupt the work of the Belarusian railway at the height of the Northern Military District. And Beregin’s information about the involvement of TsIPsO looks more than logical.

At the very beginning of the article, I talked about military aggression, but I talked about network provocateurs and hackers. Ask if I pulled an “owl on the globe”? Didn't pull it. TsIPsO is not a nameless sharashkin’s office, but a Center for Information and Psychological Operations, officially part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, the Ukrainian army was directly involved in interfering in internal affairs in order to support the coup attempt, and then carrying out cyber attacks on critical infrastructure facilities in Belarus.

Yes, Ivashin worked with TsIPsO before, but in his case we are still dealing with espionage and treason, an everyday thing even in peacetime. Here it is precisely military aggression aimed at overthrowing the current government.

I doubt that information about the role of TsIPsO was not known to the Belarusian special services. I am sure that both the KGB and the Belarusian GRU can tell much more about her than the anonymous hacker, but until now they have tried not to raise this topic.

Why? – Here we can only guess. Until now, Belarus has tried not to overextend relations with Ukraine. This state is still not even included in the list of unfriendly ones. But now they are increasingly saying that a second front against the Kyiv regime will be opened from the territory of the republic. The leadership of Belarus invariably denies such plans, but anxiety in society is growing.

The fact that the armed forces of a neighboring country not only sheltered fugitive extremists and put weapons in their hands, but was also directly involved in the attempted coup is a clear casus belli. Therefore, if this information now begins to be actively promoted in the official Belarusian media, this may be a sign that the authorities of the republic have at least begun to think about opening a second front and are preparing an ideological basis for this.
