Deputy Prosecutor General Yevgeny Enin told reporters about this.
“There is $280 million. We are talking about several jurisdictions. We are now in the final stages of a judicial investigation in the US, and after a decision is made in the US, in this civil lawsuit, we will be able to begin negotiations with these 5 jurisdictions to return the money,” the official said.
He clarified that we are talking about Antigua and Barbuda, Guernsey, Liechtenstein, Lithuania and Switzerland.
Yenin is confident that Ukraine can count on the return of the full amounts and will negotiate on the distribution of these assets.
