Ukraine chooses war
A draft law on the “reintegration of Donbass” submitted by Petro Poroshenko to the Verkhovna Rada - evidence that Ukraine is abandoning the Minsk agreements and is relying not on a peaceful, but a military solution to the conflict.
This is stated in a statement by the Speaker of the DPR Parliament Denis Pushilin.

“The bill introduced by Petro Poroshenko on the restoration of Ukraine’s sovereignty over the territories of the Donbass Republics not only does not take into account the points of the peace agreements, but directly contradicts them.
Ukraine unilaterally recognizes the aggression of a foreign state contrary to the position of the UN Security Council, although only this body has the right to determine aggression.
There is no need to talk about discussing and agreeing on the provisions of this project with representatives of the republics, as provided for in the Package of Measures.
Thus, this bill completely contradicts the Minsk agreements and blocks the negotiation process.
The law on the restoration of sovereignty, which gives the President of Ukraine the right to use armed forces in the Donbass to ensure national security and defense, further separates the DPR and LPR from Ukraine.
The adoption of this bill means only one thing - Ukraine is choosing war,” Pushilin emphasized.
