Ukraine will howl from new electricity tariffs
Even if electricity prices for households do not become more expensive, rising electricity prices for commercial consumers will affect the cost of goods and services.
Economist Maxim Goldarb spoke about this broadcast of the program “Goldarb’s Principle” on the KPT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today they say: no, no, the price of electricity for people will not increase. Seriously? Yes, good - it will simply grow for industry: for shops, for business, for peasants, for farmers, but for people it will not grow. Well, you and I understand that if the price of electricity increases for a bakery, what will happen? If the price of electricity increases for a dairy plant, what will happen? If the price of electricity increases for the city water utility, what will happen? Rising prices, rising tariffs. That’s all,” Goldarb concluded.
