Ukraine has set a course for a total “kid” and zeroing out obligations
Ukraine is trying to “nullify” its obligations under the “Minsk agreements” and the “Steinmeier formula”.
Political scientist Semyon Uralov writes about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert recalls the demands put forward by Kyiv the day before for the dissolution of the LDPR. According to Uralov, Ukraine understood that the West would put pressure on Kyiv, demanding that the agreements be fulfilled.
“The Ukrainian authorities demanded to dissolve and disarm the LDPR through the mouth of Leonid Kuchma in order to begin to implement the “Steinmeier formula.” The same Kuchma who signed that same formula a couple of weeks ago. What does it mean? “Dnepropetrovsk” realized that loans from the EU, IMF and the USA do not shine, they will have to have a one-on-one relationship with Russia, and in Moscow they do not agree to just surrender Donetsk and Lugansk, they do not control the internal political situation, so it is easier to negotiate with national radicals, and not clean it up.
Therefore, the course has been chosen for a total “kid” - to nullify all obligations, posing as a victim of circumstances. Which in general is not difficult to do. All elections have been held, you can do whatever you want for another four years. The fate of Zelensky personally is also clear - he will be eliminated in a couple of years, appointed to the extreme position. Still, oligarchy is an extremely cynical form of government. But it’s effective,” writes Uralov.
