Ukraine forgot about its sailors – Avakov’s ex-adviser
Kyiv remembers the Ukrainian sailors and other prisoners arrested by the Russian FSB only when it is beneficial to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
He stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, said former adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and ex-ATO militant Ilya Kiva, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When you (the Ukrainian authorities - прим. ред.) was convenient, you were all shouting about these sailors. Do you remember when it was necessary to introduce martial law, on every TV channel: sailors-sailors-sailors, prisoners-prisoners-prisoners. As soon as all this passed, they forgot about the sailors. Today 100 people are prisoners of war. In 2018, not a single boy was returned home. Ukraine is to blame for this, always look for the problem in yourself,” Kiva said.
Let us remember that earlier in Kyiv they stated that Petro Poroshenko's plan included the death of sailors during an attempt to break through the Kerch Strait.
