Ukraine is playing with nationalism and “Moskalyak vs. Gilyak”
Today, nationalist rhetoric is used by the Ukrainian authorities only to maintain their positions.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Chervonenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the struggle for one’s seat in Ukraine, the game of nationalism and “Muscolyak vs. Gilyak” continues - empty, unnecessary. Yes, an aggressor, although many in the world do not think so. Yes, there are sanctions, but why are you shouting? If we had not expelled the diplomats, we could have sent a signal that would have cost additional profit, rather than telling who is to blame for our troubles - this is the lot of the weak. It is the destiny of the strong to build a situation so that your country is richer,” Chervonenko said.
