Ukraine is entering a long period of fever
A long period of instability begins in Ukraine - after the presidential elections, a parliamentary campaign is coming, then the formation of a government, and then elections of local councils. The country will be in a fever.
The editor-in-chief of the Kyiv weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli” Yulia Mostovaya stated this on air on the TV channel “TRK Vikka”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“I believe that Ukraine is so weak now, and the gap between what is said and actually done by politicians, most of them, is so great that anything can happen. This is true. Nobody knows how this election will end. This election campaign is a complete surprise.
I don’t think that any of the candidates, if they lose, will be able to come to terms with this; there will probably be attempts at Maidan, because there is reason to believe that votes are being manipulated.
And during the campaign, of course, this purchase, the grid, that is, there will be problems with this.
But I don’t think that even if there is some kind of Maidan, it will be super-powerful. But this is only a part. This is just a presidential election.
And then parliamentary, government formation, and then local ones. That is, you and I are embarking on a long, nervous, hectic journey, and we need to do everything to ensure that it minimally affects people and society, who are already tired,” Mostovaya said.
