Ukraine took 137th place out of 144 in the world ranking of road quality.

This was reported by the Autocenter publication with reference to the annual ranking of countries in the world by the quality of road surfaces of The World Economic Forum.
As specified, experts studied the condition of roads in 144 countries of the world and assessed them on a 7-point scale.
According to The World Economic Forum, the best roads in the world are in France, with this country receiving the highest score of 6,5 points. The UAE took second place, and Singapore took third place. The top ten also included Portugal, Oman, Switzerland, Austria, Hong Kong, Finland and Germany.
The worst roads are in Moldova: this country received only 1,5 points, because 40% of local roads require major repairs. Ukrainian roads took 137th place. Below our country were also Mongolia, Guinea, Romania and Haiti.
Earlier, Vladimir Groysman stated that he intended to initiate the allocation of an additional 5 billion hryvnia for road repairs. After that, he said that the Cabinet of Ministers would demand criminal liability for poor quality road repairs.
