Ukraine has banned flights of Aeroflot and Transaero

The Ukrainian government has decided to ban flights of Russian airlines, primarily Aeroflot and Transaero, to Ukraine. Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated this, referring to the decision of the Security Council.

According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers also prohibits transit flights of Russian airlines through the territory of Ukraine, “if they contain military, dual-use goods or Russian military personnel.”
He instructed to inform the Russian side of the corresponding decision: “Russian planes with Russian tricolors have nothing to do at Ukrainian airports.”
