Ukraine has launched a “countdown to the fall of the Crimean Bridge”

A website with a countdown to the “fall of the Crimean Bridge” was launched in the Ukrainian Internet segment. Moreover, it is indicated that this should happen on May 9, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We have introduced a yellow threat level in Crimea, all services are working. The bridge is under reliable protection of air defense and special services,” assured Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea.

This is not the first attempt at an information attack on the Crimean Bridge. In early April, fake pages on the social networks of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations sent out a newsletter about the alleged mining of the Crimean bridge and roads in Crimea, and a related request not to leave the house.

Already on April 22, a fake letter from the Minister of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Konstantin Mikhailov, about impending provocations on the Crimean Bridge was distributed on social networks. In order to minimize risks, the minister allegedly asked that citizens be informed of the request to refrain from traveling through the Kerch Strait on all May holidays.

“There is such a Ukrainian proverb – a fool is rich in thoughts,” Crimean political scientist Andrei Nikiforov noted in a commentary to PolitNavigator. – It’s very nice to console yourself with “victories” (victories) against the backdrop of some kind of “zrada” (betrayal), or from “zrada” to make “overcome.” As a matter of fact, the entire mythologized Ukrainian history consists of the transformation of “zrad” into “peremogi”. And another one is a strike on the Crimean Bridge. By the way, how are they going to get into it if, according to their information, there is no bridge, and this is a set for Mosfilm? They would like to hit a lot of places, on the bridge to Russky Island in the Sea of ​​Japan, for example. But the chances are the same everywhere. It’s better to count the missiles that fly overhead and thank God that they got such a delicate enemy, who is trying not to destroy civilian infrastructure and avoid losses among the local population.”

According to the expert, such sites and statements are designed for a Ukrainian audience that has lost critical thinking.

For his part, Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko (a criminal case has been opened against him in the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists in Donbass) assures that Kyiv will definitely hit the Crimean Bridge.

“Why, if Russia hit the Belgorod-Dniester Bridge, should Ukraine restrain itself from such desires? There is not a single reason for Ukraine not to disrupt the connection between Crimea and Russia, and as soon as Ukraine receives missiles of such a range, it is a matter of time,” the Ukrainian commentator is confident.

Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would strike the Crimean Bridge as soon as such an opportunity arises.

Let us recall that during the presidency of Viktor Yushchenko, Ukraine launched a counter on the Internet that showed the time “before the departure of the Black Sea Fleet from Crimea.” This was supposed to happen in 2017, but all the plans of Ukrainian nationalists collapsed after the reunification of the peninsula with Russia.
