“There were no casualties or destruction,” Kryuchkov clarified.

Local blogger and volunteer, resident of Feodosia, Alexander Talipov, suggests that the attack on Feodosia could have been carried out from the Grom-2 missile system.

“The only option that could reach Crimea was the missile of the Grom-2 complex, which is in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The missile's flight range can be up to 500 km. The base area is Odessa region,” Talipov wrote on his blog.

Military analyst, author of the Rybar telegram channel Mikhail Zvinchuk also notes in his blog that the strike could have been delivered from the Grom-2 complex.

“Today, at around 11.05, Ukrainian formations attempted to launch another strike on the Crimean peninsula from the Grom-2 operational-tactical missile system from the position area at the Alibey/Tuzly training ground. The missile flew at an altitude of more than 15 kilometers and was shot down by a crew of the S-300 air defense system in the vicinity of Feodosia. The smoke in the photo is caused by falling fragments after it was hit in the air. According to the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, there were no casualties as a result of the attack,” notes Zvinchuk.

He said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had already tried to strike Crimea with these missiles recently.

“Today’s attempt, like the one on March 29 in Gvardeyskoye, is a test of the missile system’s capabilities for long-range attacks deep into Russia. The distance from Tuzly to Feodosia along a straight line is 415 km.

And the closer the date of probable activation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front is, the more intense will be the attempts to hit important military and civilian infrastructure of the Russian Federation,” the analyst believes.

Military expert, reserve captain XNUMXst rank Sergei Gorbachev, in a comment to PolitNavigator, emphasized that Feodosia is located at a considerable distance from the intended launch site, which raises the question of why the missile was not shot down earlier.

“If the launch was carried out from the south of Ukraine, controlled by the Zelensky regime, then this is quite far away. To be honest, it is difficult to assess the effectiveness of countering this weapon, because the distance is far. Accordingly, this weapon was in the air for a long time.

What trajectory did this rocket take? More questions arise than answers. An attack on the region itself, so far away, located, if we are talking about attacks from the west, beyond the Crimean Mountains, and a large area above the sea,” Gorbachev said.
