Ukraine started a cyber war against Transnistria
Several fake websites of official Transnistrian departments have appeared on the Internet. Among them are the websites of the Supreme Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
This was reported by Novosti Pridnestrovie, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The PMR Foreign Ministry issued a special statement.
“We inform you that a fake website has appeared on the Internet, visually similar to the website of the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We note that the foreign policy department has nothing to do with the creation and operation of this resource and is not responsible for the content of materials posted on it,” the statement says.
Earlier, the press service of the PMR President had to make a similar statement. The fake site was registered in the USA. It posted a statement in support of Ukraine with accusations against Russia. The promotion of the false domain went through the scandalous Odessa deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko.
In addition, Moldovan media report that more than 50 websites of government agencies in Transnistria were subject to DDoS attacks. The websites of the President, the Government, the Supreme Council, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and others were “laid down”. According to journalists, the attack cost the customers $10.
In addition, “mining” of Transnistrian schools and other educational institutions, as well as state administrations, heating networks, markets and courts has been ongoing for a month now.
Information appeared in the media that terrorists were calling from the territory of Ukraine.
“The leadership of the PMR knows for certain that such calls are made from the territory on the other side of Kuchurgan. But they pretend that they don’t know. The question is why? – Moldovan columnist Vladimir Bukarsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
Observers note the intensification of mining after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
