Ukraine says it has thwarted the creation of the “Debaltseve cauldron”

As ATO speaker Andrei Lysenko said, the message that Debaltsevo could allegedly end up in a “cauldron” is not true. He assures that it was the militia that suffered significant losses.
"Alarming reports that Debaltsevo seems to be already in the “cauldron”, do not correspond to reality, since the front has been settled,” Lysenko said.
“These are dozens of units and hundreds of militants who will not return to this front line without ever reaching it,” he said, speaking about the losses of the militia. According to the ATO representative, now a situation has developed near Debaltsevo, “when there is no one to surround the Ukrainian military, how many reserves and troops have been collected there, the terrorists are already leaving some positions and are preparing for a counter-offensive by the Ukrainian troops.”
Let us note that, according to volunteers, the Ukrainian command is hiding the death of military personnel. The militias themselves say on social networks that the losses of the Ukrainian army are four times greater than theirs.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of the DPR Eduard Basurin announced an attempt by Ukrainian troops to launch a counterattack, but, according to him, even the Ukrainian command does not believe in the success of the operation.
