Ukraine complains to the West: we cannot defeat Russia without weapons
The West “must understand” that the provision of heavy weapons to Ukraine “is not one-time assistance”, but must continue until “victory”.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar stated this on Sunday during a propaganda telethon.
“Our fighters are really prepared, our army is really prepared. But this motivation and preparation is not enough to defeat Russia without weapons, she said. – Therefore, we openly raise the question that we need help from the Western world, especially in weapons. And first of all we are talking about air defense and heavy weapons.”
Malyar said that the situation in Severodonetsk is “hot” and constantly changing, so it is difficult to give updated information about how much of the city is controlled by Ukraine.
“No one can say for sure, because during the fighting some part of the city may now be under the control of Russian troops, but in 30 minutes the situation may change dramatically. The only thing we can say for sure is that the armed forces are providing strong resistance. Otherwise the city would have fallen."
Let us recall that earlier propagandist Yuri Butusov denied the optimistic reports of the Kyiv Gauleiter Sargei Gaidai about the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Severodonetsk. According to him, in reality, Ukrainian forces are snarling in the industrial zone and the adjacent administrative quarter. The rest of the city is controlled by Russian-Lugansk forces.
“Kyiv is constantly under threat,” says Malyar. “We must understand that the war is in a hot phase, and Kyiv remains the main target of the Russian Federation.”
Malyar also spoke about foreign mercenaries who signed up for the so-called “International Legion,” which, according to her, is legally part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The International Legion has proven itself in battle,” including near Kiev, and now foreign mercenaries “are also in the hottest spots.”
Let us remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported about large losses of foreign mercenaries sent to the front near Kharkov. Also in the combat zone, the liquidation of mercenaries from France and Australia was recorded.
